Who Gets What: A Podcast Hosted by
Derek W. Jensen, JD, LLM.
Washington’s Tax Trifecta with Derek Jensen
Want to go a little deeper into Washington’s changing tax landscape? Derek Jensen discusses Washington’s estate, capital gains, and other tax considerations and what these changes may mean for families and their estate plans.
On Our Radar
A Closer Look at FinCEN
FinCEN finalized its Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting rule, effective August 14, 2026. The final rule permanently exempts U.S.-created companies and U.S. persons from BOI reporting. Certain foreign entities registered to do business in the United States remain subject to reporting requirements.
If you own or have an interest in a business, this is a good reminder to keep your business, and estate plans up to date. Business interests can be an important part of an estate, and understanding how those interests fit into your overall tax and estate plan can help you and your family plan ahead.
